IMPORTS PRODUCT ANALYST

Essential Job Functions:

  • Review and analyze monthly sales reports.
  • Forecast inventory to be purchased.
  • Monitor and analyze in-stock data.
  • Interacting with vendors, coordinate the ordering of new and existing products.
  • Conduct detailed product inspections to identify supply chain quality issues.
  • Participate in cross-departmental efforts to identify and resolve quality concerns.
  • Negotiate returns and establish corrective action plans with vendors.
  • Requires occasional domestic and international travel.

 Required Competencies:

  • Ability to read, write, and speak clearly in English; proficient with desktop/laptop/tablet computers and MS Office , specifically, advanced knowledge and experience using Excel (Vlookup, pivot tables, and advanced formulas).
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
  • Proven analytical and quantitative skills; ability to think strategically and execute methodically.

Education and Experience:

Required Education:       Bachelor’s degree, specifically in Business Management, Accounting, Economics, or any other related field.

Required Experience:     A minimum of 2 years’ experience in an Analyst role in inventory management, procurement or forecasting in a distribution capacity or equivalent combination of education and experience.


 CORPORATE ACCOUNTS ASSOCIATE

Essential Job Functions:

  • Completes weekly sales reporting, updating necessary spreadsheets and/or documents to improve department visibility.
  • Organizes, obtains approval, and releases restricted customer orders for all corporate accounts.
  • Organizes and maintains our internal documentation for the sales department that contains important information pertaining to our customers.
  • Upon request, un-restricts catalog and/or survey products for Account Executives upon request.
  • Coordinates mail-outs for Account Executives, the Corporate Accounts Coordinator, or Director of Sales, including, but not limited to, catalogs, survey’s, etc.
  • Supports catalog/survey requests from sales staff.
  • Distributes documents from Corporate Accounts outbox as needed and checks mail at least twice a day.
  • Checks inboxes for Account Executives for time-sensitive documents when they are out of the office.
  • Maintains sufficient supply of often-used office supplies for the department, like copy paper, toner, labels, etc.
  • Assists Account Executives in the creation of custom catalogs and surveys for everyday and seasonal products.
  • Assists in the development and maintenance of the Custom Catalog list and filings.
  • Assists Accounts Executives in providing key sales data to them for communication to corporate accounts.
  • Assists Accounts Executives, the Corporate Accounts Coordinator, and Director with correspondence and follow-up when requested.
  • Acts as back-up at front desk reception throughout the week to relieve for breaks and lunches.
  • Assists with proofing various catalogs, surveys, documents, etc.
  • Assists with entering daily batch orders for customers.
  • Through training, becomes proficient with internal pricing, UPC setup, rebates, and other various reporting needs.
  • Serves as a point of contact for corporate buyers and sales representatives when Account Executives are out of the office.
  • Assists with checking daily customer voicemail box for web orders, web chat, sales overflow calls, etc.

 Required Competencies:

  • Ability to read, write, and speak clearly in English; highly proficient with desktop/laptop computers.
  • Ability to use and perform tasks within MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) at a highly effective level.
  • Ability to use a PC and/or MAC computer.

 INSIDE SALES REPRESENTATIVE (new training class – 2 positions)

Essential Job Functions:

  • Acts as an account manager, maintaining relationships with independent retailers throughout the United States.
  • Provides store level support to corporate accounts and implements account executives’ initiatives for corporate customers.
  • Handles incoming requests for product orders and information.
  • Assists wholesale customers placing orders in burton + BURTON showrooms at major gift markets in Atlanta, Dallas, and Las Vegas.
  • Guides wholesale customers through the burton + BURTON virtual showroom and assists customers placing showroom orders live, online.
  • Follows up on customer requests from trade shows and the company website to book showroom appointments and answer questions about products and services.
  • Assists with campaigns to obtain orders for upcoming seasons, and to encourage attendance at company educational events.

  • Ability to read, write, and speak clearly in English; proficient with desktop/laptop/tablet computers and MS Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook).

ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE ASSOCIATE

Essential Job Functions:

  • Assists customers calling with billing questions.
  • Processes incoming mail.
  • Applies payments to customer accounts.
  • Prepares bank deposits.

INSIDE SALES REPRESENTATIVE 

Essential Job Functions:

Photo Studio Product Coordinator/Support

Essential Job Functions:

  • Pulls product samples at the direction of the Photography Studio for photo shoots.
  • Provides support to the photography studio team by assisting photographers with any preparation or cleaning necessary to ensure a successful working environment.
  • Responsible for providing product photography to the Imports department.
  • Travels with company photographers and team to off-site photo shoot locations. Ensures product is pulled, delivered and set up at location.

Required Competencies:

  • Have basic office/clerical skills.
  • Possess a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel) and Adobe.
  • Skilled at minor renovations, including painting, in regards to prop building; general knowledge using hand tools.
  • Through creative thinking, have the ability to gain new insights and develop different ideas using existing information.*
  • Possess a general knowledge of photography.*
  • Must have excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and strong time management.
  • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.

*Should be able to provide evidence of creative thinking and photography skills.

SHIPPING LINE TRUCK LOADER – WAREHOUSE (DAY SHIFT)

Essential Job Functions:

  • Loads customer product boxes from shipping line conveyor belt onto FedEx and UPS delivery trucks.
  • Communicates shipping information to inside sales representatives and customers.
  • Interacts with walk-in customers and loads product into customer vehicles.
  • Using shipping line computer, finalizes customer orders.
  • Must be able to lift up to 70 pounds on a regular basis.
  • Ability to work flexible schedule, extended hours, or outside normal work schedule as needed.

Required Competencies:

  • Ability to read, write, and speak clearly in English; proficient with general computer keyboarding.
  • Responsive, service-oriented attitude with strong interpersonal and organizational skills.

Education and Experience:

  • Preferred Education:     High School diploma
  • Preferred Experience:   A minimum of 1 year of experience on a warehouse shipping line.
